Fall 2026 brings a rich table of programs, including our Crit Lab exhibition in November. Check out our new Labs, our private social network, and MAPSpace/Crit Lab Cooperative venture.

After fall in Italy and spring in India, I am looking forward to gathering for new and returning programming. In the fraughtness of our time, art creates a space of empathy, holds space for hope, and makes the presence of human labor visible. We need art and we need one another.

I am grateful for this community that shares the daily joys and challenges of a working artist.

All artists have a permanent profile in our Mighty Network, a private social media platform where artists share ideas, images, opportunities and more. Critters retain forever access to our Mighty Network!

Each Lab has their own private space for the session.

Artists are individually curated into peer Labs for maximum engagement and connection. Cohorts offer connections of conceptual ideas, thematic overlaps as well as critical difference, to create strong meaningful peer dialogue. Artists learn from the dialogue of the curated group, build strength of ideas, and resilience in community.
