Statement
My work is a conversation, or a song, or a dance with the lines and paint that I put down on the paper.   People often emerge, “What are you feeling? What are you thinking?” A character develops. A narrative takes shape.  “How’s the weather?”
“Oh dear!  I really think you ought to change your sweater!”
Dancing trees in halos of light, now on a stage.  An audience of birds appear. It’s spring! Let there be mud!
