Jodi Colella

Jodi Colella uses needlework to infuse renewed power to craft practices. Both her sculptures and interactive installations capture the sublime of human nature while creating mindful connections to foster change.

Jodi exhibits and teaches internationally; is a member of Boston Sculptors Gallery; and is a recipient of a 2019 Mass. Cultural Council Fellowship Award for Sculpture. She received a BA from Boston University and studied at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She exhibits extensively both locally and abroad including The Textile Museum, Washington D.C.; The Textile Center, Minneapolis; Fuller Craft Museum, Brockton; World of Threads, Toronto; and Da Wang Culture Highland, Shenzhen China.

Jodi is the founder of the fiber study group FiberLab and has taught throughout the U.S. and internationally with upcoming workshops in Greece and Australia.
