Federico Troletti

Federico Troletti is a Historian of Art with a specialization in Renaissance sculpture in northern Italy. He holds a PhD at the Università degli studi of Trento; he studied marble and bronze sculpture focusing on the artworks in the Italian regions of Veneto and Lombardy. He studied preservation and restoration of works of art (Scuola di Specializzazione in Storia dell’Arte Medioevale e Moderna at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milano) and followed with his professors the restoration of the Pinacoteca of Brera and the da Vinci’s Cenacolo in Milano. He published some catalogue cards for exhibitions on Beato Angelico, Donatello, Caravaggio, Pedro Berruguete, and other Renaissance painters.

He is director of Museo Camuno (Breno) and president of the Center Camuno of prehistoric studies. He wrote a lot of essays about modern archaeology (rock art) and of culture heritage of Camonica valley.
